It's nice that you offer to provide people with assistance with your expertise. If I may offer a suggestion? it may be helpful to re-frame slightly to offer some tips from your marketing report right here in the Forum as a way to educate and support the other members of the programs. That way, you provide value for members, remove the necessity to go to your URL (but by posting content here that would likely drive more clicks your way) What do you think?

Perfect Sandra . For example.......

As a life-long student of all things marketing for small business, I have discovered there is indeed a “3-Step Business Building Formula.” We experts have been teaching it for years and it is definitely worth repeating here. There are three ways and ONLY three ways to grow your business.

1-Attract MORE new customers
2-Attract the customers you already have to buy from you MORE OFTEN
3-Have your customers SPEND MORE each and every time they shop with you
So, you might ask, well Jane, which one do I focus on? Not all steps are created equal. In fact, Step #1 (more new customers) is typically the most expensive step. Or in plain English, it costs much more to attract a new customer than it does to get a previous customer to buy from you again. Further, Step #3 is the least expensive step, since it requires NO additional marketing costs….the customer is already buying. (Note: That’s why you always see keen online marketers offer additional products on their ‘Thank You’ for ordering page.)
So, let me ask you a question. What are you focusing your business growth on now? Do you KNOW what it is you should be focusing on? How can you get more leads and get more customers? What is the best wasy for business start ups to make more money?

That was a great re-post. So, how might you suggest that some one attract more customers for example? The outline is good... how would you ramp up the "top of the funnel" free advice that would help to create your credibility as an expert? This is the kind of helpful content that would help members know your name and what you do. I sure hope that is helpful?!

Hello Obioma. IF you have your Marketing MESSAGE nailed, and IF you know your perfect TARGET of Customers, THEN we can move on to the MEDIA part - and that just means all of the method you will use to attract these Target Customers.

That said, waht we want to do is to reach more of those perfect customers and get them to "raise their hands." Try some article postings with a link that refers back to your landing page where they leave their contact info in exchange for a free report or something. Then you begin auto-responding (with MailChimp or the like) to these folks who have raised their hands and said "Yes, I am interested!" You keep offering good stuff via email, videos you post (using YouTube and then embed in your webstie), teleseminars (easily recorded an posted) , and then reach out to them to see where you can be of service. This can also be accomplished through direct mail, ads, networking - whatever MEDIA your target market likes to dabble in.

By beginning with your MESSAGE, TARGET MARKET, and then your MEDIA, you can repeat the process on and off line.

Hey There! Well, quite frankly I don't do marketing - I do money-making marketing. The difference is that each piece of your marketing system evolves from the original USP AND all are designed to make the most of both time and dollar investment. Once you correctly figure out your own $Making Marketing System you use it in all facets of your marketing - on and off line, face to face etc. While most internet marketing gurus aim for a 1/2 of a percent response, a more direct response that we use garners 4-5%. But, we do need to set it up right from the start - no one time splashes, no confusing messages, etc. I'll give you sneak preview on my Critical Rules: these are to be followed once your are CLEAR on your Message and Target Market:
1. Present an Irresistible Offer
2. Create a Reason to Respond Now
3. Give Clear Instructions How to Respond
4. Track & Measure
5. Forget Branding, Do Direct Response
6. Follow Along/Follow Up
7. Present compelling sales copy
8. Mimic Mail Order Ads
9. Pay Attention to Results
10. Be Disciplined to DO Marketing Always
Does that make sense?

My funnel is such that folks work with me from either direction - some start with me in creating and implementing the Free Report Strategy ( I paste it below) while others start with having me Craft and Implement their entire Money Making Marketing System. Some fall in between like those who hang around getting a monthly touch and paid newsletter (DIY), still others have me on their team, as you suggest. One of the top marketing strategies we hear over and over again is to Offer a Free Report (or teleseminar) to capture leads. A GREAT strategy for sure. Now, what does it take to get that done?
You will need……

One Free Report, written, formatted, ready to go for print or download.
Opt in landing page (or sign up box) on which to Offer the Report
If you don’t have a web page currently, you’ll need to set that up, too
Create a sales letter and campaign to entice people to go grab your report
Send the campaign to your current list on both email and snail mail
Set up a sales page on web with the copy or the opt-in / sign-up box or link(s)
Thank you Page that automatically appears upon sign up, where they Grab (download) the report.
A good Leads Capture Site to collect the opt in contact information
A series of no less than three free E-Lessons or tips as autoresponders sent to the opt in list
THEN, you should also compliment that with:
At least one related, written-by-you Article with SEO links back to your page
Placement of article in minimum 4 Sites related to your business
One written-by-third-party Press Release
Placement of press release in minimum 3 sites
