What ‘Down on their Luck’ Entrepreneurs Do
to Turn Things Around Fast
What does luck have to do with any of it? Here’s a definition for luck I found online:
Noun
Success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one’s own actions.
I don’t believe this. This isn’t true. If you accept this at face value and are just ‘waiting around’ for some good luck to come you’re way, you’re going to be waiting a very, very long time.
The people that buy into this kind of thinking are usually very poor. They’re waiting for life to happen to them. For someone to show up at their doorstep with a huge check from Publisher’s Clearing House.
Napoleon Hill spoke about luck in this way…
“There are no limitations to the mind except those we acknowledge.”
In other words, success (and in this case luck) is a process of imagination. So is failure. If you’ve experienced failure, it’s nothing more than a failure of imagination.
Think about it.
Everything you do is first an idea followed by an action. If your idea was ill conceived or you simply didn’t believe in your idea to begin with you’ve laid the groundwork for failure.
So really, what does this have to do with luck?
It all starts in your mind. What are you looking for? Are you filtering for the negative or the positive? Are you looking for ways things can go wrong? Are you looking to show someone up?
Don’t get me wrong these have their time and place, but as a standard mental operating system, being negative will sabotage your efforts 100% of the time.
Incase you think I’m alone on this, I’m not. Here’s a quote from a Forbes article “How to Create Your Own Luck.”
“Train yourself to always be looking for the next opportunity, your next challenge for growth, because that mindset is exactly what allows us to create our own luck.”
Are you looking for the next opportunity? Are you challenging yourself to grow?
For the past 4-5 years we’ve been focusing on the economy and helping people to make more money with our 3 Days to Cash workshops. We’ve called these events the Millionaire Makeover Tours and have one coming up in Orange County.
However, for the most part we’ve been focusing on those that want/need to make more money. We’ve done well with these. However, I can’t help but feel that I’ve left out a segment of our market that we used to serve really well.
I’m referring to those that already have assets and want to know where to invest them.
I’ve created a new special 2-day training -“Get Off and Diversify Your Lazy Assets.”
This training is FREE for those that attend.
