You don’t have to join a gym or start an exercise program to exercise, but you do need to move! Think about your car. If you don’t drive it for a long time, you are going to have problems. If I don’t warm mine up in the morning it makes lovely complaining noises. The same is true for your body. But there’s another side to that coin as well, if you overdo it, your energy will deplete fast. You need to listen to your body, take breaks. Yes, you want to be fit. But if you want all of your muscles to work (including that brain muscle that makes you MONEY) know when to let off the gas on the exercise.
Ultimately, your body will tell you if it’s responding well to the level of exercise you are doing. Soreness is normal. No energy, irritability, lack of motivation and ability to embrace your Yes! Energy – not normal.
I know we have some coaches/trainers in our community. What do you tell your clients? How do you bust over the low energy hump? How can someone tell if they are working out too much? I’d love to hear from you!
