3 Positively Simple Steps to More Cash

04 May 3 Positively Simple Steps to More Cash

make_money_signDiscovering your potential to make more cash, and identifying the opportunities around you, is what will give you the ability to create cash fast.

Wait!

Before you start that negative conversation in your head, listen up…

I’ve been coaching people on how to build sustainable wealth for years but along the way I learned that not everyone is ready to build wealth… or don’t believe they can, even though they have a desire to move beyond their current level of income.  A lot of people are simply struggling to pay the bills.  I’m here to tell you that you CAN do more than just keep your head above water. For some of you, wealth might be something to consider later, but right now you need to take steps in a positive direction.

3 Simple, Positive Steps to More Cash:

1. Focus on the positive! There are two sides to this equation. There’s an expense side and an income side.  Most people only look at the expense side.  When you focus on the income side, you’ll find that you can have that larger life that you desire. Seeing the expense side is important, but if that’s all you focus on, you’ll be constantly running negative thought processes through your mind. By focusing on the income side, you’ll find a variety of ways to create more cash in your life. And that solves the expense side.

2. Consider Your Value. Don’t undervalue your skills and abilities. Believe me when I say you have tremendous potential and you can use that to make more money. First, get the right mindset.  It took you years to get to where you are in life right now. And through those years you not only learned the things you now know, but more importantly, you experienced them. That’s your greatest asset.

It is the culmination of all of your knowledge and experiences that has real value and is your most marketable commodity.  NOW is the time to pull those together and take action.

3. Awaken the Entrepreneur Within. Start to think like an entrepreneur, examine your assets, assign a value to them, and figure out what types of people and businesses could use what you have to offer. Then go out and market, market, market.  Go out and get those orders, contracts and sales rolling in.

You can do it. Go!

    Wonderful post Loral!
I especially love the section about considering your value. People all too often undervalue their skill sets, and their ability to make money. Thank you for shedding some light on that subject!

Loral, one of the things that hits home for me is ‘What are you doing for free every day that you should be getting paid for?’ That helps me focus on making new money.

        Hi Rebekah and Christine,

Women! Why is it we have such a hard time asking for the cash! Ladies, you are worthy of being paid for what you do! I’m glad you’re taking that to heart. Yeah You!

It’s amazing how many business people undervalue themselves when calculating prices for their product or service. It is important to pay yourself but keep a competitive edge in the market. Thanks for the reminder to calculate those aspects into the price of the product or service!

Benefits, benefits, benefits! That’s your edge on the competition – not necessarily price. Get paid what you deserve. Thanks for adding to the conversation here, Sandra.

We all have a gift to give to others, and we give ourselves freely daily, Loral teachs us how to give our gifts and expertise and make a living at it at the same time helping others. We all have needs and will eventually purchase them from someone.
I hope to see all of Live Out Louds clients at one of Loral’s 3 Days to Cash Workshops.

    Hey Loral,

Great to see you blogging again! I’ve missed you. I love the way you bring simplicity and clarity to all things financial. I must admit that I sometimes have the tendency to pay more attention to the expense side of things rather than the income side. Now I realize just how ridiculous that is! When you think about it the way you put it, I have to ask myself why have I been doing that?!? It seems so obvious the other way around.

Excellent post! I also have to say that I appreciate the value you bring to my life! Big hugs, GF! Glad you’re back to blogging. 😉

It’s not just the asking for the cash that’s important, it’s getting the “yes”. You have to work at defining the question, the service or product and the delivery of the offer to get that “yes”. Getting a “no” is easy. Getting consistent ‘yeses” is the payoff to working on the details, doing the market research and delivering to clients and customers what they need and will buy.

Thanks Loral! Number 3 is invaluable! I think most people eventually get the first two of your suggestions but whether we like it or not, without sales and marketing, there is no income!

The words “And through those years you not only learned the things you now know, but more importantly, you experienced them. That’s your greatest asset.” really resonate with me. Through every experience we become more and more valuable. Love that! Thank you

Great Post! #1 really speaks to me. I see this as the classic “glass half full/half empty” scenario. When we see the glass as half empty we tend to restrict & retract in our thoughts & actions. Responding out of fear that there is not enough for our needs, which definitely does not promote growth or opportunity. When we see the glass as half full, well, now we have options! Options let us move forward, encourage growth & open our eyes to the potential within & around us. We don’t ignore the expenses, as Loral mentions, but by focusing on the income (or the half full glass) our actions (key word) help us to provide for both sides of the equation & we come out ahead.
    Thanks!

Loral well said. As a coach I know the value of language and talk track. Seeing what is right with a situation is more difficult road to walk but the one that presents the most opportunity and abundance. You are a great teacher in that regard!

Hey Jacob! Thanks for stopping by and and for the terrific compliment.

It can be a difficult road at first but that IS where you’ll meet the best opportunity. Well said!

Great inspiration, Loral! Being a hypnotherapist I know the power of the subconscious mind. Pay attention, are you running negative-fear base self-talk or positive empowering messages? The thoughts we have during the day affect what you create, so make them constructive positive thoughts, because you are programming your subconscious whether you are aware of it or not.

Your subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between your imagination and reality. It believes everything you tell it, especially when you add emotion to your thoughts, so fake it till you make it!
