I’ve been coaching people on how to build sustainable wealth for years but along the way I learned that not everyone is ready to build wealth… or don’t believe they can, even though they have a desire to move beyond their current level of income. 1. Focus on the positive! There are two sides to this equation. There’s an expense side and an income side. Most people only look at the expense side. When you focus on the income side, you’ll find that you can have that larger life that you desire. Seeing the expense side is important, but if that’s all you focus on, you’ll be constantly running negative thought processes through your mind. By focusing on the income side, you’ll find a variety of ways to create more cash in your life. And that solves the expense side.
2. Consider Your Value. Don’t undervalue your skills and abilities. Believe me when I say you have tremendous potential and you can use that to make more money. First, get the right mindset. It took you years to get to where you are in life right now. And through those years you not only learned the things you now know, but more importantly, you experienced them. That’s your greatest asset.
It is the culmination of all of your knowledge and experiences that has real value and is your most marketable commodity. NOW is the time to pull those together and take action.
3. Awaken the Entrepreneur Within. Start to think like an entrepreneur, examine your assets, assign a value to them, and figure out what types of people and businesses could use what you have to offer. Then go out and market, market, market. Go out and get those orders, contracts and sales rolling in.
