Planning Your Freedom Day

Sometimes, you have to do what it takes to launch and nurture your business while you are still nestled in the comfort of a full-time job. Before Live Out Loud, I worked with Chevron. Did I just tell Chevron one day on a whim that I was leaving and the next day I had Live Out Loud up and operating? No. I planned for that Freedom Day and, if you haven’t had yours yet, so should you. 

You will have to shift the way you do business if you are still working for a company full-time – get a business line people can call and leave messages and, instead of eating lunch, eat, return calls, and ask for some cash. You’ll have to work 7 days a week for awhile, but (and here’s where all the hard work is REALLY worth it) you know you are working toward something BIG!  You are! You are working toward a bigger, better, life where your earning potential isn’t capped by the hour or what someone else thinks you are worth a year.  You set your price. YOU ask for the cask. YOU walk it to the bank.  What a feeling!

It reminds me of this quote from Vince Lombardi:

“I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious.”

Your day of victory is your Freedom Day.

Get a calendar and CIRCLE it. Hang it up so everyone in your house can see. Tell people about it. Be proud of it. This is the exact day you are working toward – no excuses.  To make it happen and keep momentum up and through that day, you are “on” all the time, pushing toward your non-negotiable goal. Having employed the Fast Cash Formula, you know how much money you want to make each month, each week, and you know how much you need to pull in a day to reach that weekly target and you are walking that much to the bank.

Imagine how GOOD it will feel to walk money to the bank every day instead of just once every two weeks. When you don’t have to imagine anymore and you are doing it consistently, you know you are on the right track.
