Loral, love the new book. Just finished it a couple of weeks ago.

My background: financial services, community economic development. I am a coach/consultant/strategist.

I was intrigued by the story you tell on page 167 (US version) about the woman who connected the landscaper and the deck builder. A great example of getting paid to be a connecter and benefiting all parties.

My question: I call myself a “compulsive connecter.” I simply can’t help myself when meeting with folks in my community – I can immediately think of individuals or organizations that would benefit them. People really appreciate this and have increased their bottom line as a result.

I’d like to get paid to be a connector. I’m thinking about offering weekly drop-in/call-in days for individuals who are looking to solve a problem or make a connection in the local community at 15 minutes a pop.

What do you think of this idea?

Any suggestions on pricing – either a # or as a percentage of my typical hourly consulting fee?

Any other ways you would recommend to provide this service?

Thanks (and your customer service team is fabulous – you obviously walk your talk over there at LOL!)

    Connie

I just wanted to say thanks. I called in today and your advice was informative but also very confirming and put my mind as ease. Most important though, was that you gave me permission to get aggressive! I think more women need to hear that it is okay to be very direct and go after what they want.

I am actually listening to the show on hay House Radio. I am inquiring on employment. I can submit a resume if needed. I sell advertising for abc and FOX networks but am looking for a change so I can teach more yoga. Thank you. I will wait for your response.
